Our Mission
At gclv.org, we are dedicated to spreading the love and teachings of Jesus Christ to our community and beyond. Through our various ministries and programs, we strive to make a positive impact on the world around us by knowing Jesus and making Jesus known.
Our History
Established in the spring 1944 Greater Carver Missionary Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of our community for over 80 years. We have a rich history of serving others and sharing the message of Christ with all who will listen.

Our Pastor and Family
Our Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. James Lee McCool II. A native of California became pastor October 2017 and our congregation is delighted to have him and his family. He is married to our First Lady Mrs.Erika McCool for 20 years and they share one daughter Ms. J'lei McCool. Our church is also led by a team of dedicated lay leaders who are committed to serving our congregation and community.
